Camping Options

  • Shellbrook Campground: 306-747-2177
    The town of Shellbrook operates a small campsite which is directly west of the Shellbrook Motel.  It has showers available and it has a few electrical sites.  You can find out more about site availability and costs by calling town hall at 306-747-2177.

  • Sturgeon Lake Regional Park: 306-747-3331
    The unserviced sites have access to their showers, the store and the restaurant.  It is approximately a 14 km drive from the Regional Park to the rowing site.     

  • Sturgeon Lake Rowing Site: 306-763-6055
    There is a campground right on the site where the races will be held and they are managed by Amisk Adventures.  There are 8 electrical sites available at $20.00 per night and 5 unserviced sites with firepits at $15.00 per night. There is also room for approximately 30 tents on unserviced sites (without fire pits) at $7.00 per night per tent. Washrooms and water available but no showers. 

    Three (3) cabins are also available with 4 single beds at $50.00 per night, but bedding is required. Five (5) Teepees are also available with breakfast at $25.00 per person per night.

  • Country View Motel and RV Park: 306-764-2374
    Located 0.5km south of the junction of highways #2 and #11. Lots of room for boat trailers. Possibility to tent as long as you know someone with a room where you can use the bathroom facilities.

    The rooms each have two double beds and they only allow 4 per room (in case you were considering packing a whole team into two rooms).  The parking is excellent for maneuvering our big long boat trailers.  

    Directions to Shellbrook
    Going north from downtown Prince Albert on Highway #2, take the 3rd ramp after crossing the Diefenbaker Bridge (signs will indicate that it is Highways #3 and #55) The road will be heading west and the hotel is on the south side of highway on the western side of Shellbrook, just past the north turnoff to Highway #55.
